Morning MBA Program is focused on those students who are willing to devote their morning time and also who aspires to be working professionals while pursuing MBA. The interplay of work and study, case studies, seminars, research activities and field projects add up to a unique module of learning.

2.Day MBA Program

You may have just finished your graduation and aspiring to learn in a full-time learning mode. This is the right program for you. Day MBA Program blends a complete package of professional learning equipped with continuous skills development. These activities are custom designed to suit the students’ need. Initiated from Skills mapping, the students enroll with individualized care.

This is for them who would only devote the upcoming two years in learning and do not plan to work during this period.

3.Evening MBA Program

The Evening MBA program enables students to study and work simultaneously. Students can apply the theories learned in the class to their working environment. With classes commencing at evening 5pm-9pm, the modality works for busy working professionals who want to excel in their careers with MBA degree. Students bring in their experience in the class and learn in peers as much as they learn with faculties inside the class.

Teaching Methodology

Dual Faculty System (DFS)

This is the unique Academic Methodology and KFA Business School is the pioneer in Nepal to implement DFS in a highly structured manner. Under DFS, two Resource Persons – the Academic Professors (APs) & the Professional Contributors (PCs) teach each and every subject of MBA Program combinely. While APs teach from the textbooks covering conventional and contemporary/emerging theories, PCs bring the real case studies from their respective work experiences to align with respective Units of the Syllabus.

Along with several other Teaching Methodologies, KFA MBA is delivered with Dual Faculty System (DFS) as mentioned in below section.

KFA’s MBA is all about preparing students for Number 2 and Number 3 Schools of their lives. KFA believes there should be 3 schools in any management student’s life:

1. Number 1 School - The Academic Institute, where students acquire both academic and professional education;

2. Number 2 School - Corporates/Multinationals, where graduates go and work after studies; and

3. Number 3 School - The Entrepreneurship Venture, which she/he establishes after acquiring knowledge and experience from Number 1 and Number 2 Schools respectively.

Through DFS, KFA imbibes a complete 360-Degree approach to management learning. The School believes that until and unless real case studies are mapped with all the Academic Contents, learning can never be complete. Our experience has proven that students who have passed out MBA with DFS have out-performed their competitors in the practical workplace scenario as they were already exposed to both academic and practical teaching methodology thoroughly even before joining respective organizations. DFS is highly effective and good learning experience for:

• Students, who get exposures from both worlds: theoretical knowledge and relevant practical experience/case studies;

• Academic Professors, who can get first hand exposure of practical aspects of business; and

• Professional Contributors, who can acquire knowledge from emerging theoretical frameworks

Industry Based Research (IBR)

A need assessment is undertaken in different industries to assess the gap in the organization. Students will be supervised by their respective mentors in association with the host organization. Students will work on the research topic and spend time working at host organization. This project can be then used in

  1. Real Consulting Assignment
  2. Graduate Research Project

Entrepreneurship Brainstorming Session

At KFA, we privilege students to take their business ideas forward through Entrepreneurship Brainstorming Session. The envisioned ideas are put through a process of feasibility check. In this session, students are encouraged to freely put their business ideas discuss in panel.

Once the ideas are checked for feasibility, they then are put into actions in next process i.e. Business Enterprise Management Project (BEMP) and Professional Entrepreneurs Group (PEGs).

Business Enterprise Management Project (BEMP)

BEMP is a comprehensive Business Project undertaken in ‘Entrepreneurship’ subject during Second Year. Under BEMP students will actually register a real firm/company (although with a very low capital) as per their interest area and they perform real business activities, including Legal, Finance, Operations & Marketing. They will not only run ‘operating cycle’ of their business, which includes ’Supply’, ‘Production’, ‘Demand’ and ‘Collection’ functions, and understand the risks associated with these activities, but also explore and implement the ‘risk mitigations’ for these functions. In short, through BEMP, students will be ‘Business-Ready’.

Professional Enterpreneurship Group (PEG)

Once students are ‘Business-Ready’ through various subjects that they learn in the MBA Program as per School's DFS Methodology and also upon successful completion of BEMP, they are now ready for PEG.

This is an initiative taken by the School to create entrepreneurship in the country. The students are given a week’s deadline to decide amongst themselves to choose any SME Entrepreneurship Project that they wish to start. Feasibility study of the chosen projects are carried out, discussed several rounds and once the preliminary framework is developed, the school will hire different experts/consultants to guide the students shape up their initiatives into concrete business proposals. The school will provide opportunity for the students to make presentations in front of potential investors, who will be identified and invited combinely by KFA and respective students. Upon acceptance of the project by the investor/s, the necessary formalities of registration and other documentation are completed to set the project into operation after the final exams or in any other appropriate timelines.
